Postgraduate travel grants

The Japanese Studies Association of Australia, thanks to the generosity of the Asia Pacific Futures Research Network of the Australian Research Council, is offering travel grants to postgraduate students to allow them to attend the Conference and present their research.

The grants may be used toward transport and/or accommodation. Beneficiaries will be exempt from conference fees.
These travel grants are offered to post graduate students who:

• will present a paper at the conference, and will attend the post graduate workshop that will be organized during the conference,
• are currently engaged in a PhD thesis, or an MA by research, M.Phil or equivalent, and
• are enrolled in an Australian university

Applications letters, including the abstract of the proposed paper, the name of the institution you are enrolled in and your program, the names and contact details of the supervisors of the thesis, and a letter of support from one of them, should be sent by email, before 20th February, to Dr. O. Ansart (o.ansart@usyd.edu.au).
